Meet Dan

A human approach, shaped around you.

Dan brings experience from plumbing, sales and management, alongside life as a father of three. He understands something of the everyday pressures of work, responsibility and family life.

He has a Bachelor of Applied Counselling from Manukau Institute of Technology and is a Provisional Member of the New Zealand Association of Counsellors (PMNZAC). His approach draws on person-centred, Acceptance and Commitment, Narrative and Gestalt therapies.

Sessions are collaborative. You can talk about what is happening, what you would like to be different and what feels useful to explore together.

Your first session

Start where you are.

You and Dan can get to know each other, talk about what brought you to counselling and discuss what you hope to get from it. You can ask questions about his approach and decide together what the next step might be.

You’ll meet by video from a private space in New Zealand. If you expect to be overseas, contact the practice before booking so location and professional requirements can be checked.
